AmiciMusic presents “Dandy D’Indy” with Steve Loew, clarinet;  Lawrence Stomberg, cello;  and Daniel Weiser, piano

AmiciMusic brings its trademark high energy, informal and educational approach to chamber music back to the intimate upstairs lounge at Isis with a program featuring the majestic, but unfairly neglected Piano Trio for clarinet, cello, and piano by the Romantic French composer, Vincent D’Indy!   Also included is the early Piano Trio for the same instrumental combination by Beethoven, a piece much closer in sound to Haydn and Mozart than the later Beethoven. Two other small pieces by Friedrich Voight and Emil Hartmann fill out the program.
