The Page Brothers have been playing music together for over 30 years.
Individually, they’ve traveled extensively performing in a wide variety of musical settings, including theater tours in Europe, jazz festivals in Japan and countless club and wedding dates. They’ve shared the stage with notable jazz musicians Babik Reinhardt, Delfeayo Marsalis, Cyrus Chestnut and Billy Higgins as well as performing for former President Bill Clinton and poet Maya Angelou. Andy Page (guitar) has taught for many years at Appalachian State University while holding down several weekly gigs. Zack Page (bass) teaches at UNC-Asheville and maintains a busy freelance schedule with many of the area’s best players.
Together, the Page Brothers have performed regularly in the Asheville/Western NC area, as well as regional performances across the Southeast. For most concerts, the Page Brothers like to choose a theme, usually the music of a specific artist, album or genre. The music of Wes Montgomery, Pat Metheny’s “Bright Size Life” album, Stan Getz’ bossa novas and, especially, the music of Django Reinhardt have all been featured in past concerts. The brothers are fortunate to be joined by some of the finest musicians in the fertile Western North Carolina music scene for each show.
