Transatlantic duo, A Different Thread, is a collaboration between Alicia Best from North Carolina, and Robert Jackson from Staffordshire, England. Both are songwriters and multi-instrumentalists who take inspiration from the music that has crisscrossed the Atlantic Ocean over the generations in true folk fashion. Think Beatlesque folk rock meets Gillian Welch dark country.
