Escaping Pavement brings their Detroit-Bluegrass back to Isis Music Hall. Expect an evening of fiery mandolin licks, driving acoustic guitar, and soaring vocal hlarmonies from the award-winning group.
Fueled by the graceful grit and fine fiery energy of their acoustic guitar, mandolin and swooning harmonies, Escaping Pavement integrates the uniquely holistic qualities of folk, bluegrass and Americana music as a way of accessing an elemental peace of mind that’s always quietly waiting for us out there in the wilderness. Consisting of vocalists/instrumentalists Aaron Markovitz (mandolin) and Emily Burns (guitar), the nationally-touring, award-winning, Detroit-based duo is spreading their roots-based message, far and wide.
