Mink's Miracle Medicine was born high above the Shenandoah River in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. Since forming in 2013, MMM has tapped into that eternal hum to release two records independently: Pyramid Theories (2018) and the duo's debut album House of Candles (2017). House of Candles was released to critical acclaim, premiering alongside a rave review on Noisey, which called the LP "a solid record that really establishes Wright and Zezeski not just as talented and articulate, but smart enough to be willingly vulnerable in a genre that doesn't tend to reward legitimate emotions."

Hope Griffin · 7:00pm

Voted best Acoustic/Folk artist and Singer-songwriter in Western North Carolina in 2016, 2017, and 2018, Alaska-born singer/songwriter Hope Griffin has been labeled as one of the sweethearts of Asheville's local music scene. She is well known for her free spirited stage presence, velvety vocals, and heart wrenching ballads, all delivered behind her hauntingly beautiful acoustic guitar playing. Armed with a strong musical heritage and a 4 year degree in classical voice, Hope delivers a robust and emotional performance that may make you laugh and bring you to tears in the same breath. She is a veteran of the stage, having performed on them since she was old enough to hold a microphone. She is often seen in various combinations, most often with her bandmate and cellist of 4+ years Jamie Leigh Bennett.
Accompanying Hope this evening for a most unique of experiences is multi-instrumentalist and talented singer/songwriter Eric Congdon. From mind blowing live performances to ground breaking music video projects, Eric always brings an energy and creativity to any project he is involved with. His latest album, Into the Woods has earned high praise for its stunning mix of heartfelt songs mixed with blazing instrumentals. His talents with the strings include guitar, mandolin, and Irish Bouzouki.
This show will feature the fusion of both artists original music, which when combined is a bouillabaisse of powerful stories, musicality, beautiful acoustic blends and improvisation.
