At the core of Sarah Peacock‘s brand of Americana is cunning songwriting and a commanding presence to deliver it; A crackling, soul-burning style with dramatic flair and a heart-stopping bourbon smooth voice.

Singer, songwriter and renowned fingerstyle guitarist Christie Lenée is more than a musician – she’s an experience. Symphonic compositions flow from her fingertips effortlessly, with sound ranging from transcendental folk-pop to virtuosic instrumentals. Her recent title of Acoustic Guitarist of the Year 2019 awarded by Music Radar Magazine out of the UK, has launched Christie’s career towards international stardom.
Christie is often described as ‘Michael Hedges meets Joni Mitchell and Dave Matthews,” integrating melodic pop lyricism with catchy hooks and percussive, harmonic textures. As an Official Showcase Artist at Folk Alliance International consistently logging a number of major festivals, events, opera houses and theaters nationwide, Christie Lenée performs with radiant joy that awes crowds and inspires fellow musicians. She recently told Digital Journal that “years ago, I set my intention to be an inspirational songwriter, though over time I’ve come to realize that inspiration comes in many forms. Talking about the dark and the light, the beauty and moments of pain are all forms of inspiration.”
Her International destinations have included Australia, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Hanoi, Seoul, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Shanghai, Beijing and several other Chinese cities.
Christie recently completed the MusiSHEans trio tour of Europe which included stops in the UK, Paris, Rome, Prague, the Netherlands, Austria and Germany, as well as a 4 city support for Tommy Emmanuel in Poland.

Come enjoy an evening of live music, food and drinks at the Isis patio and lawn. Reservations are highly recommended.

Here's the scoop on our Lawn Concert!!

Things are going to be a little different due to the "new norm" / COVID19 regulations. So we ask that y'all just bear with us!!

Unlike our previous lawn shows there will not be open free lawn seating (ie blankets, bring your own chairs, etc) - We have to follow strict distancing rules right now - When things get back to normal, we promise we'll also get back to our usual lawn series vibe.

There will be tables throughout the patio and lawn - these tables will be specifically spaced to meet distancing regulations.

These tables will be the ONLY seating.

The tables are available for DINING only - unfortunately with the limited seating we can not offer tables to those that are only enjoying a beverage.

Seating is limited so we recommend calling and making dinner
We will be adding a musicians' fee per person in order to help support the musicians and sound engineer..

Our same delicious food will be back on the menu in a more limited selection until we can get things up and running steadily again.

We hope that you understand and support these changes as we all are working through how to navigate these times!! We're so excited to back open for live music and to see some familiar faces!!

Please give a call with any other questions or to reserve a table!! 828-575-2737

Sarah Peacock · 6:30pm

American history is blood-stained with the dehumanization of entire communities. Casting her own harrowing spell, singer-songwriter Sarah Peacock draws parallels between current events and the 1692 Salem Witch Trials with the title song to her new record, Burn the Witch. Finger-picking guitar work cleanses the throat as her voice swells to mimic the havoc strewn through time, as well as present-day strife along our southern border. Such raw intensity boils over onto the rest of the 11-track record, and while her style is not easily defined, her storytelling prowess is irrefutably potent and unnerving.

Peacock has a bedeviling way about her, particularly in the way she harvests such influences as Brandi Carlile and Heart. She even filters heavy metal band Metallica through a rootsy, acoustic lens to emerge with a silky, sticky musical web of her very own.

Firm in her belief to use her platform for social and cultural change, the shift occurred after her tour bus burned to the ground in 2016. Then on a four-month tour, weaving up the west coast, she and her crew stopped for a quick bite to eat. Their generator caught fire and the blaze consumed nearly everything aboard.

Burn the Witch is a brawny, life-affirming set that digs into themes of perseverance, overcoming personal struggles, finding redemption in the ashes and what freedom should feel like. These 11 songs seek to uproot what we think we know about the world. Peacock works her magic across every single moment, each syllable diligently carrying its weight and heart. The music is expertly packaged and delivered with a sense of urgency while never feeling heavy-handed or exploitative. Burn the Witch is about truth and understanding of humanity, and Peacock will not back down until the whole world is listening.
