Dianne Davidson, Deidre McCalla, and Jamie Anderson got tired of answering questions about who in women’s music was still alive. Part of the vibrant network that created Olivia Records and much more, they decided they definitely weren’t dead and did their first concert together in 2015. Appearing on stage together, they perform songs spanning their careers, solo and with each other.
Hailing from Nashville, Dianne Davidson has released five albums and shared the stage with artists ranging from BB King to Linda Ronstadt. Whether she’s blowing the roof off with Willie Dixon’s “Built for Comfort” or warmly singing her own “Tonight I’ll Dream That You Care,” you’ll get an authentic performance.
Affectionately dubbed the "dreadlocked troubadour" by The Miami Herald, Deidre McCalla celebrates the power and diversity of the human spirit with powerful songwriting, delightful storytelling, and vocals both graceful and gritty. With five critically acclaimed albums, Deidre McCalla has captivated audiences from college coffeehouses to Carnegie Hall.
Living in the frigid north of Ottawa, Canada, hasn’t lessened the warmth of singer-songwriter-comic Jamie Anderson’s performances, with songs from tongue-in-cheek (“Karma Cafe”) to serious (“Between”). She’s celebrating the release of her eleventh album The Truth Appears.
